Quicky Design of PSP2.0I found out at the end of the day the Kotaku was running unofficial design challenge of next PSP.
Spent couple of hours on it... so it's pretty rough...
Also, I wish i had a 3D program. it would have looked better rendered...
*IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
-I HAD NO IDEA THIS IMAGE WOULD DRAW OVER 15,000 PEOPLE IN ONE DAY... FOR THAT MATTER IT REALLY MADE THE CONTEST SUPER UNFAIR. I USUALLY GET COUPLE HUNDRED VIEWS PER DAY. SO I THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T UPSET THE VOTE THAT MUCH... BUT THIS LITTLE REQUEST OF MINE MUDDLED THE GOOD SPORT OF FAIR GAME OF CONTEST. I AM ASKING TO HAVE MY ENTRY TAKEN OFF SINCE I INADVERTENTLY BECAME A CHEATER. But you can enjoy the design here...
I DO SUPER APPRECIATE ALL YOUR COMMENT THOUGH. I will try to compile the thoughts behind this design soon. It will address a lot of comments you are making.

Your design and ideas are worthy of praise, but what about protection for the screen? Prone to scratch with some kind of film on it. Sliders or in the bag.

What sucks is the fact that they are talking about doing with that something that is angering a whole buncha people: taking away UMD support. This means no more Crisis Core, No more Dissidia (Can you tell which ones I have to buy yet?). So yeah.

The design is convenient and amazing. If this was real, I would think about getting a PSP again, because PSP Go sucks balls because you have to buy your games online and any old UMD games are void if you don't have a regular PSP. Not to mention the prices don't go down so any game you can find for 20 at a store is 50 dollars.
I hope they go through with your design. I will fave in support of this!

OMG! I designed something just like this about three years back. Mine was only a rough series of sketches though. Anyways, Good job! Glad to see someone else had the same Idea as me, and then actually had the skill to design it like this.
