Thank you. I am glad you like this piece. It is one of my favourites for a numer of reasons. ... actually, I have probably hundreds of drawings or paintings that I havent posted here so I guess everything I put up on DA I am happy with to some degree. lol Oh! So yeh. I know what you mean about using good supplies but sometimes it is the materials that inspire me.

I did this piecs at 3:30-4am. couldnt sleep. Then out to the garage. I always end up there when I cant sleep. The matboard was just sitting in the corner of my garage and it just looked like a guy sitting on the floor. So for me the image was already there I just filled it in with color. If I had tried to paint it on another surface I am not sure it would have turned out the same.

Some how or another, most of my favourite works are on scrap materials of one kind or another. If I can draw or paint on it I probably will. I dont really worry about whether I can sell it or not. I am not in it for the money. I love the process, the journey and if people like the end result... Well thats just a bonus.
