I just got back from OC today! I spent my first day watching the sunrise and taking pictures as well

The water was amazingly calm that morning - as you can see, almost no waves. I'm so crazy busy I probably won't get back down there until fall. But that's such a great time to shoot.

Really beautiful! Especially in how the horizon just seems to stretch across the landscape, there.
I really like the colours and the composition of this piece, although a part of me wishes it could have been wider... or even a panorama, in that sense.
Nevertheless, it's a stunning shot.

Thanks so much. I think the only "editing" I did on this image was adjusting the orientation a tad to get the horizon line level. Other than that it is as photographed. The colours came out extraordinary and the sea (Atlantic Ocean) was quite calm that morning. It worked out quite well.
