Ahh, but a "meeting" often carries the connotation that there is an agenda of some sort. I prefer "gathering" because it says exactly what it means - a coming together.

I think this is one of my personal favourites. Partly because I've probably walked past this tree and these markers a dozen or so times and never quite saw them this way. But on this particular way the light and the fog and everything else was just right...

the arrangement of the stones, and the tree and the color of the sky. In my mind, I hear an ashmatic pump organ wheezing as off key voices waver through "Shall We Gather At The River".
