Description
Figured I'd finally just upload this! Its an art trade with and her stunning character. Very pleased she accepted.Lines are all mine, no stock used this time around, with a little angle adjustment help from my dear friend the βgoddess of wings.β xD Yeah, she taught me about everything I know about wing-structures.
I'm really happy with this one.
I may pull in another back-ground, or I may leave it. I'm really, really torn on the subject. Image "full-view" is smaller than the original, high-resolution file. Please don't steal it, it belongs to someone else!

I really like the colors and the way its reaching up with it's whole body. Another success!

Thank you thank you! Even with all the crazy girly colors here... this one still made my desktop image...

I love it, the drawing looks so realistic. Although I'm about the furthest thing from an expert on horse anatomy. I'm oddly impressed by the way the wings join the body.

Really pleased to impress! Especially about that. I've been drawing horses nearly my entire drawing-life. But wings are one thing I'm only beginning with. <3 Thank you for the comment!

Well I guess so. As long as you like drawing it who cares?

Hehehe, maybe so. But let it be known to the world that I still... still... hate pink. >>; Yes.

I really really like it! I thought though that your Trypophobia would have acted up with it cause of all the spots! It looks wicked awesome though!

Oh, it tried to for a moment. But I think with the colors I used it was a little better. Its not at all the natural colors that happen with natural things that bite and crawl. I was also careful to keep them from looking uniform like that last time!

This is beautiful!
I love his wings!! Great job on the horn, feathers and tail. The back right leg and head are pretty good as well. I also really love the colors used!
Since you requested critique:
There are a few things that stick out to me. I see what you were doing for the positioning but it seems just a little awkward. His chest is twisted but the barrel and front legs don't bend quite right. Good job on the front right leg but, it doesn't look placed right on his body, it seems too far back. Lastly his front left leg is positioned oddly. I think if the pastern and hoof were drawn to curve more gradually it would look a little smoother?
Overall though it's gorgeous!

Pastern! That's the word I always forget. xD I've always had trouble drawing one smoothly.
Not sure if I will fix this particular one, but I'm trying to figure out how to do so. If I gave him a deeper right shoulder blade, perhaps that would pull it together better? I definately see the issue with the left leg.
Tough pose to pull off, let me tell ya! ^^

I have trouble drawing them too haha
That might help actually. I think also defining his chest muscles could make it look a little more correct? They seem to blend right into the shoulder.
I agree that is a pretty tough pose to draw!
