Description What started out as sort of an amusing joke ended up inspiring me toward a far more touching idea. There is something really beautiful about Anders to me, and I wanted to show his bashful side, those hidden insecurities all while showing that all these things can be beautiful.

Amazing stock used by *justmeina Please, if you haven't seen his stuff, pay him a visit. I've been watching him for well over a year now, and he is truly dedicated to the beauty of the male form.

Photoshop CS 4, around 10 hours and a little bit more finding a good screen-shot in the game for his likeness.

I do agree that he is not bashful. But I think with the personality of my hawke, in a private situation, with certain comments being made, he would indeed be bashful long enough for a moment such as this. It is all in context and meant to make you imagine what caused that look in the first place.

Thank you! I still get to thinking of doing some more DoA art like this, but honestly I was most attached to Anders during my play through. I cannot seem to quite get the same feel with other characters.

Thank you, that is a really great compliment. I tried quite hard to make the body mesh with the character himself, which can be very difficult sometimes.

Thank you so much! It definately took some doing to get the shading (mostly skin tones) to match between what we know of Anders and the model I found. That's always the greatest challenge.
