So on my piece 'When Lindholm met Sato' I hosted a little mini-contest where the first person to guess what I had done differently style-wise would earn a free pencil sketch drawn by me. And the lucky winner was none other than the dearGiven the choice, she wanted me to do any of her OCs. Having browsed her collection I found her Red Panda Girl, Arealle, whose distinguishing features include one red eye and one blue eye. And there's me with my single colour method. You were just asking for this to happen weren't you?
If I'm being honest, I'm glad you were the one who guessed correctly and thus gave me the drive to go this Astral, because doing some form of gift art for you has been trying to get to the top of my to-do-list for a while now. You've not only been one of my dearest friends, inspiring me with your kind words and comments, but your dedication and passion for your own work has really opened my eyes in the world of art + creativity in ways I can't even imagine. I deeply value your support, commentary on my work, and friendship very much. So thank you

Though, if I'm being honest I don't think the tail had that much shading. For that I was focused more on the texture as I've rarely pencil-drawn fur before

Well, it looks like I'm only going to be able to complete 1 artwork during my Easter Break, and I'm really glad it was this one

They are an amazing bunch, it was tough to pick only one. But I always fondly remembered Arealle's two eye colours, and I just couldn't resist. She was just too perfect for this style choice
