Cash dressed for a robbery, but Kerry was dressing up for them just hanging out and then he called her of a sudden and told her they were robbing a store that night.
Then she just grabbed a bandanna.

Roy being a wuss is actually a clever ploy. He is really a secret agent for a monster hunting guild. This will be apparent when he pulls a giant sword out from under the counter.
It will be just as apparent how much he sucks at his job when he still gets robbed anyway.
