I can't stop grinning. I always love stories where there are strange relationships. Plus the fact you can make both Roy and Matilda both relate to the readers as well as believable for us to be emotionally engaged with them makes this scene just great. So far this roller coaster of comedy, awkward tension, and great story telling has just been getting better and i can't wait to see what happens. Sorry for the rant but before i'm done I think your visuals on this page are great. I mean look at this shit, their's build up, tension, sadness, happiness, confusion, unassurance, reassurance, fear, shock, and dare I say it TRUE affection. Everything i said mostly goes to what is happening on this page, but some also apply to the readers, and that takes skills. Toothpick, you are the fucking man!!!
