Sally is finally chased off. Probably back through the closet into the monster world. I imagine Matilda gave her a good enough scare that we won't hear from her for a long time.The second part of my double-upload to catch up from this weekend.

Sally should know that "urge" is more the instinct to hunt prey, not just eat humans.
Whenever Edward's urge get's uncontrollable, I set him onto the pigs.

Probably she'd loose her closet monster job if she ATE the kid who she's supposed to scare. Eating Matilda's kids would probably just get Matilda blamed for it.

I would LOVE to know what monsters are like, why they hide in closets and scare people, and how they relate to the world of humans...
And how the humans don't seem to notice monsters eating people, assuming it's happened before.

Well monsters have their own world apart from ours and scaring kids and/or people is a job in their society, but its kinda a low-paying job (like working at a fast food restaurant here) so its not considered that glamorous or desirable. And technically they don't live in the kids actual closet, I assume if you go into the back of a closet juuuuuuust right (kinda like Narnia or the train-platform in Harry Potter) you'll end up int he monster's actually room.

Perhaps that's how she gets away with it? Rather than eating kids she's assigned to, she eats neighbors' kids?
