She normally doesn't wear clothes at all haha, being a monster and all. She wears clothes outside because for (some unexplained reason) despite being a terrible disguise it always passes of as a good disguise from normal people and they think she's a normal person.

They are perfectly capable of it but they probably show it in a different way (i.e all the hate and problems Matilda throws at Mikey). She's probably been showing Mikey how she loves him this whole time but he just doesn't recognize it yet.
