Description
Here's my final design for my character Lu (short for Luere). She resides in a post apocalyptic future where the world is 90% water. I'd go into the story more but I'm lazy. I envision her as a lead character for a zelda style adventure game. I decided to go for a more cel shaded look in favor over fully rendering the character, because of the sheer amount of poses I have to clean. Enjoy.More to come!

That's true. Wouldn't she have a darker complexion if she was constantly in the sun? Especially on a planet with 90% water due to the reflection of suns rays....

In her original design I had her with darker skin, but it just didn't work design wise. So I had to go with a happy medium at least.

Overexposure to the sun results in heatstroke/sunstroke. Just look at yon desert tribes, foo. Bam. Lawyered.

Also, she looks to be of a rather gingerish complexion, so I'm pretty sure she'd burn to a crisp in the sun unless she covered up a bit more.

I miss her asymmetrical pant legs/ankle coverings. But that's cause I'm just like that.

Doesn't really make too much sense with the actual story though. Why would she wear so much baggy clothing when she's constantly in the sun? Right?

This is lookin' really strong!
My only remark (and this is because you've asked for critique), is that her neck feels kinda too thin for the rest of her. Maybe that's just me, but something about it feels a little off.
I still really like it. You had me at "Zelda".

Thanks! I actually totally agree, looking at it today. Especially on the head/shoulders drawing. Thanks so much, I'll be paying attention to that now as I move forward with the rest of the project.
