I'm really, really sorry about the lack of update, guys. Struggling a lot with the comic lately.I put this panel process rundown together for Draw! recently, though, and even though it's not very exciting, I figured at least it's something I could share in the meantime.
This process has gotten vastly more complicated since I started working on Lackadaisy. Pages used to be almost 100% pencil with just a little sepia tone added digitally. Now, after penciling, a panel often requires hours of additional work. (Put 12 or 15 panels together per page, and it adds up to at least part of the reason I fail so hard at regular updates.)

Even if you don't update regularly, the amount you do update and it's high quality is what makes it worth the wait. Just looking at this is amazing, it may seem like you don't do too much to them, but you have to get things just right to give it the tone you're going for. Thanks for sharing this though, it's really cool to see!

You really, really don't have to apologize for the time between updates Tracy. You really don't.
I've met a few people at work who have turned out to be big followers of your work, and every one of them has commented that seeing your finished comics is incredibly worthwhile. And they're right. Lackadaisy isn't just some simple, weekly comic churned out for the sake of it. It's a labor of love, and you can see your passion for your work and subject matter in each and every single panel. It just wouldn't be the same if it were produced faster.
You put more into each panel then some people do with entire strips. Keep working at your pace and doing what you do best. I think every one of your readers understands.
