Here is my oc of Union Pacific 9000: Nate

Nate was built by the American Locomotive Company or ALCO for short in 1926 when the Union Pacific needed a stronger engine to pull heavy trains over hills and that was a new designed 4-12-2 a very powerful 3 cylinder locomotive and nate number 9000 was the prototype and the first of his class. The UP was impressed of this new engine and agreed to have more locomotive of the 4-12-2 and nate and his brothers and sisters worked hard on the Union pacific but there was a slight problem with the chassis of their design the 9000s were able to go over wide curves but if they went of really tight curves the chassis would get bent or worse snap and break and the UP decided that the wider turns for the 9000s were the best solution.

Some of Nate's siblings were fitted with roller bearings to go down the line easier without getting a hot axle box in total of nate's class 88 of his members were built. in november of 1941 nate met bruce wasatch or bruce the big boy and bruce was impressed of nate's wheel arrangement and the two engine's became close friends including bruce's cousins the challengers.

Then in 1944 nate met a FEF3 number 844 Steve and like bruce they became close friends too and the 4 UP giant's Baron 3985 Bruce 4014 Steve 844 and Nate 9000 were known as the Union pacific Giant's and Nate got along with his friend's siblings well some were kind and polite but those he did not get along with were rude but nate had a lot of friends on the UP but sadly in 1953 nate was retired from service and was sent at the scrapyard but he was then saved by the rail giants museum and bruce was sent to the museum as well. When nate realized all of his siblings were scrapped and he was the only one left he was upset.

Nate enjoyed meeting the other engines at the museum but he soon realized years later bruce was back in steam in 2019 and he wanted to get back to work so the museum decided to bring nate back to running order and a day later nate was back in steam.

Nate asked the UP if he was needed and the union pacific said in case if there was another train that needed to be helped or rescued they said yes and they agreed to let nate take freight and passengers but they said they can't have too many locomotives in their steam program and nate agreed so the Union pacific decided to have nate as a helper engine and freight and passenger engine nate was now happy to be working for the union pacific again but when he realized baron was being restored he was sad to see his friend baron leave to illinois with his 2 friends Sherman 5511 and Devon 6936 to be restored but at the same time proud of his friend they were being brought back to steam.

Now Nate works for the Union pacific as a helper passenger and freight engine he sometime helps banks trains over gordon's hill when he works on sodor and he is always willing to help nate is a powerful engine and strong but he may be longer then other long locomotive like the Texas, overland or the 2-10-2 loco's he is kind and well mannered to anyone. Nate often visit's the clinchfield highland valley railroad to help with the increasing workload and everyone like's him.

But if any bad engine or villain would bully nate or his friends nate would bully them back and blow his whistle and that is a sign to not mess with a giant 12 driver wheeled engine. the sodor engines and british engines like nate and are impressed of his strength and his work and his positive attitude to get any job done.

If anyone is feeling down nate would comfort them and he would say: "life may be rough but you are tough enough to get through the day never give up and let the angels help you."

Nate is a christian like aiden and always listens to calm music to help him relax he also like rock and country and jazz music and he always likes to help anyone in need of anyone who needs help. Nate may be a big engine but he is a gentle giant to smaller engines and is always happy to help when someone needs it.
