Magma is probably not the best heat source for a fish tank, but I suppose we donβt always work with the most ideal of circumstances.

Well, that is the Varia suit she's wearing (at least how it looks in the Metroid Prime series anyway), I always just assume that Samus automatically has the Varia suit unless otherwise specified since it's kind of become the default/iconic look for most people...
