Hello there. (smile) These three critters here are aliens requested by OJ. Hope you like them!

(Left) Szjur'szjema: The Szjur'szjema are a race of tripedal omnivores native to the tropical moon, Huvo, of the gas giant Gi'zjar. They evolved in the dense jungles on the near side of the moon, making the nights very bright. They are nocturnal and have developed a sophisticated camouflage based on tiny photo-optic hairs that cover their bodies. These hairs can change colors in multiple layers, allowing the Szjur'szjema to practically disappear at night. The mouth is located at the base of the neck, above the forelimb, and a row of tentacles runs along either side of the neck, including four retractable tongues at the base. This is how Szjur'szjema handle food and tech. Their large eyes are highly sensitive in the dark, and their vision extends slightly into the infrared spectrum. They possess very distinct sexual dimorphism. Females are the larger ground dwellers, while the males are small, flat gliders. After elaborate courtship rituals, a bonded male and female will fuse together, the male providing constant sperm and more senses to the ambulatory females. Males are non intelligent and there exist many breeds of fashion and utility males today. Szjur'szjema societies are organized much like human ones in most general aspects.

(Middle) Uplifters: The Uplifter race is one shrouded in mystery to this day. All that is really known about them is that they apparently are responsible for uplifting many modern races into sophoncy, and they also constructed huge dyson spheres as habitats. It seems, although they helped to create many new races, the Uplifters themselves were a highly xenophobic people, so the real reasons for their involvement in the process of uplifting may be known only to them. The reason as to their disappearance is, like many other things about them, a mystery. Trace elements of artificial compounds have been detected within wisps of solar flares, indicating massive vaporization incidents at around the time the Uplifters were believed to have vanished. This has sparked numerous theories, from a terrible genocidal war, to some sort of voluntary extinction event. Whatever the cause, and whatever the reason, the Uplifter mystery continues to captivate history lovers to this day.

(Right) Gotorn: The Gotorn are an enigmatic race of virtual and mechanical beings who claim to have arisen on the super earth world of Thamek. The entire home system, today, is a bustling megammetropolis of interconnected city worlds. At first glance, the Gotorn seem to be a completely mechanical species, and this is true. However, the Gotorn themselves have revealed that they were once wholly biological beings. The circumstances which lead to the modern Gotorn form is something of a mystery. Even Gotorn historians and scholars face great disagreements among themselves over the origins of their modern mechanical heritage. Apparently, whatever the cause of the transformation, it involved a kind of memetic extinction, in which large portions of collective Gotorn memory were erased from their psych. One can only speculate on what the original Gotorn were really like. The standard modern Gotorn is composed of several body-balls, or "boballs", held together through magnetism. There is always a central boball, which the individual Gotorn keeps all their memetic life. The other boballs come in many sizes and functions, and can be traded or recycled with others as the need arises. Gotorn culture is highly organized and structured around mathematical and artistic expressions of individual or temporary group minds. Individuals do not die, but are recycled into the collective subconscious of the Gotorn race, which they are inevitably attracted to.
