Description
A while ago, I was experimenting with my own take on the classic speculative zoology scenario of the absence of a KT extinction event. The idea has never really left, and has continued to evolve. These are some basic ideas for the animals of Seiek as I continue to refine it. These were done sometime last year, so not all the ideas are 100% "canon" for the project anymore, but I figured I'd see what others think. Clockwise from top left:One: A typical member of Cervavisauridae, a group of grazing and browsing ornithiscians descended from animals similar to Thescelosaurus. Many species possess keratinous crests or patches of feathers for interspecies display.
Two: A relic titanosaurid of the old world. Given titanosaurs remained generally conservative, I figured some would remain as such, but would likely be on the decline by now in light of climatic shifts and competition with newly evolved herbivores. I'm thinking of adding a more definitive armor pattern around the neck region. I also like the idea of pin-like "whiskers" to aid in feeding in low-light conditions.
Three: A semi aquatic nodosaur, native to Africa.
Four: A derived pachycephalosaur whose species now fill many of the large armored browsing herbivore niches throughout the Americas and Eurasia. This one belongs to a more gracile lineage with long quills along the neck for defense.
Five: A small, burrowing ceratopsid. These are the result of basal leptoceratopsids making their way into Africa and diversifying into the new clade Afroceratopsida. Other members of the group are much larger.

Nice to see something from Seiek again and, as usual, your speculative dinosaurs are wonderful to look at.
The Cervavisauridae looks flamboyantly yet moderately outlandish, like some kind of Star Wars animal.
Sauropods with whiskers, that also look a little bit like slug antennae, now that´s genius!
That nodosaur looks so adorable. yup yup yup
The two last dinosaurs here, especially the kentrosaur-esque pachycephalosaur, are fun to look at as well.

Gotta say that number 5 is my favorite. Keep up the good work.
