two fingers is def an insult over here in england. but only a minor one.
i dont think its fair to complain about the artists copying of images. either he traced them (which is no different really then many of the photographed panel mosaics). and besides, maybe he's no artist and this was the only way to get his story across well.
or perhaps he copied (not traced) the image which i used to do years ago when i was first trying to draw tfs. copying is how we learn. not anybody can copy an image well like he has. i still like to find ref pics for certain facial expressions or poses. i doubt im the only one that started drawing pics by copying others stuff.
although i do feel that the fun of mosaics is trying to fit an entire story in one page, i like your story arc. a great story so far and i look foward to its conclusion. the tank force are cool new characters XD

wow, this is some pretty obvious tracing.
if you want to use existing images as an underlay to get proportions and perspectives, thats one thing. but flat out copying? looks tacky. especially in that last panel.

Oooh... a few comments about Magnus' hand in the last panel. I think it works well enough, personally.
Point of interest: I've been reading back through my textbooks this month, and particularly about the art of storytelling. Hands and faces are mentioned extensively as storytelling aids an artist can use.
I'm inclined to believe that Magnus' hand gesture in the final panel would work better if the last part of his dialogue from the preceding panel was placed in the final panel instead. That way it'd suggest more that Magnus is counting off a list of transgressions, which would make for rock-solid storytelling.
But heck - it doesn't spoil the fun! Great job all 'round, folks! Looking forward to the next one!

Magnus' hand position in the last panel does look awkward. He should of had all his fingers curled up into a fist instead of having two of them sticking out.
