The story and progression through the panels is superb as well. It tells so much about the relationship between Soundwave and Megatron. Well done, everyone!

when it comes to soundwave he has proven himself to be among the most loyal if not THE most loyal decepticon in the entirity of the decepticon forces
it really should not come as any surprise that megatron would over time come to see him as being a sort of sole confident to his person and pernaps his only true friend in the ranks in addition to soundwave also being perhaps the only true con worthy of inheriting the rank of supreme decepticon leader from megatron

First of all this is a beautiful piece of work. The art is finely detailed and well done. Great job!
Second, I wanted to note that this actually clears up the whole movie scene for me. A lot of the commenters seem to think that Soundwave just ignored this command but really, SW knew Megatron wasn't going to live from those wounds and Megs seems to know it himself. Letting him be thrown out is irrelevant because he won't make it to Cybertron anyway and will just give Astrotrain problems.
After this we all know that Soundwave fought for his superiority but lost. In this comic we see that Megatron thinks his superiority lies in his brain and not his strength. It's important to note that SW doesn't do most things conspicuously.
When he sees that he has lost, he decides to go about things the long way. Let Starscream be ruler for a while and pretend to serve him just as loyally and then when his back is turned kill him and take what Megatron left him.
Of course, SW had no way of knowing about Unicron or expecting Galvatron to appear.
Sorry about the novel. Anyway, I really appreciated this Mosaic. Wonderful work!

The artwork here is incredible but it does leave kind of a plot-hole in the movie events (i.e. Soundwave did nothing to stop Starscream throwing him overboard and he accepted Starscream as Decepticon leader).

I always admire Soundwave and I do like those moments when he does become leader,but,I perfer Shockwave as leader than Soundwave.Still,very good Mosaic.
