Arcee is kneeling on Scourge, having just retrieved the key to the lasma Energy Chamber from him. That's the grey pyramid she's holding.

Hee.
And yet, this also gave me a Superlink flashback.

It's set in Season 4 (The Rebirth).
Very well thought and illustrated.

Love the Headmasters twist and their reactions to Scorponok. The rest of the G1 gang look suitably shocked.
Awesome work.

I think the cool part about this Mosaic is how many people worked on it. The story, meh, I'd say it's more a lack of story, and it kinda kills it. First time I read through it I thought to myself: where's the rest of it?

Ahh, good clean art. Loved it! The Gort/Highbrow bit was funny i wished there would ahve been a whole season after The Rebirth to see these guys develop as characters and partners in battle.

There are some interesting scraps of characterization in here, but all in all there doesn't seem to be much in the way of plot or point. Sorry.

Well I think the characterization IS the whole point. A showcase of eight individuals and their unique reactions the situation presented. There may not be any culmination to this piece, but that's part of the point of Mosaics; they allow for elaborations and extensions to events already seen. This doesn't need to feature a climax, because we already know how it ends. And for those who don't, it's a prompt to check out the original material.

Good points all, but the characterization seems a bit anemic, no offense to the author. It shows them all baulking at Scorponok, and half of them react in characterizational ways, but half of them fall flat.
Keep in mind, I don't want to insult Josh. He's come out with some great Mosaics before. IMHO, though, this one just isn't as good as some of his previous material.

Cool.
I like the stories where its just the characters interacting.
