Some of my earliest drawling-related memories are of drawing the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles way back when. Looking back on it, that may have very well been when it all started for me. So returning to 'em after who knows how long was an absolute blast.Related content

I haven't seen the live action ones in a while either. Shame they only made two of them. I thought they were going to make a third but then IT NEVER HAPPENED! *covers ears and begins humming* (Seriously, even as a little kid at the height of Turtle Mania, I still knew the third one sucked. lol) I loved the CG one from a few years back, though.

Yeah I have all three but the third one still wasn't as good as the first two since Shredder wasn't in it anymore. That and the plot was.... different. Time traveling ninjas.... Yeah not that good. My personal favorite is the second one though.

Thanks! And to answer your question: Kind of sort of. Er, let me explain.... I usually start off drawing things as little 2"x3" thumbnails, which I then blow up to fit on regular computer paper to add in details, and then blow up again to 11"x17" bristol board for the final lines. For this, I did the thumbnails for the turtles on paper and the thumbnails for the city on the computer, which I then pasted them on. From the second step onward, though, it's all done together on paper. (Except for some of the signs/ads which I did add after the fact.)

This looks GREAT Travis! There is some excellent stuff going on here, but I'm particularly impressed with the background work. You are getting seriously advanced, man. Fantastic job.
