BEGINNINGS 1998 - 2000

THRUST is distinguished among his peers by being the first Decepticon to have an eye colour divergent from the customary "Decepticon Red" (unless you include SHOCKWAVE, of course, who might be a questionable contestant as, in a traditional sense, he has no eyes). They probably figured red eyes were redundant with his head predominantly red (well, probably more a shade of maroon, but still in the same family). Because of this aspect and considerably lighter face, which sets him just a little bit apart from the other two coneheads, I think perhaps THRUST may be the most interesting member of the trio to work on.

SECOND WIND 2007 - 2011

Needless to say (but you know I mean to say it anyway), just as I have tended to update SKYWARP and THUNDERCRACKER routinely on the heels of STARSCREAM, RAMJET and THRUST usually find themselves upgraded after DIRGE has gotten his due. In other words, not a challenge to be met with overmuch trepidation. That said, my constant desire to make sure they never feel like carbon copies -- helped by the different colour schemes, to be sure -- always finds me trying to find ways to separate them. His yellow eyes help as well and, with the individual shading of the cone part of his head, my need is satisfied.
