Description
Archaeopteryx lithographicaNamed by Christian Erich Hermann Von Meyer, 1861
Diet: Piscivore/Carnivore (Prey included small fish, insects, and small animals such as the lizard Bavariasaurus)
Type: Maniraptorian theropod (avialae Archaeopterygidae) dinosaur
Size: 1.8 feet (0.5 meters) long and 2.2 lb
Region: Europe (Southern Germany)
Age: Late Jurassic (150.8 to 148.5 million BC; Early Tithonian)
Enemies: Ground-dwelling theropod dinosaurs such as Compsognathus.
Episode: Walking with Dinosaurs: Inside their World app
Original Version: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/w…
Info: Long considered, until recent years with the discovery of earlier feathered avialae dinosaurs from China such as Anchiornis and Xiaotingia, to be the earliest member of the avialae clade (A clade of feathered theropod dinosaurs that include modern-day birds), the discovery of Archaeopteryx in the 1860's was famous, because due to its saurian appearance and the presence of bird-like feathers gives us the first unique glimpse into the evolutionary relationship between dinosaurs and birds and it provided a strong support for Charles Darwin's theory of evolution he published On the Origin of Species: By Means of Natural Selection (1859), two years before the animal's description. In 2011, x-rays revealed that Archaeopteryx had black and white feathers.
Note: Based on and Gregory S. Paul (a little). Coloration based on a crow with white underside based on the recent discovery revealing the animal's true coloration.
And that complete's the Jurassic period and now we move on to the Cretaceous period and, SPOILER ALERT!, all this will end with the king: Tyrannosaurus rex.
On 11/12/2018, I updated it and gave it a shorter neck

This art looks awesome.
But I thought I saw an article somewhere which stated that Archaeopteryx was completely black in color like Microraptor.

The Jurassic age has sadly come to an end , but in the ashes of the fallen time zone, a NEW world is born! THE CRETACEOUS ERA!

Beautiful work done here. Although, I do not recall most of the animals in your gallery appearing in the franchise (the BBC Television program).

Then does it count as the first raptor?

Eumaniraptoran, then yes. Althought it isn't exactly a Dromaeosaurid (the group that includes Velociraptor). Dromaeosaurids - especially Velociraptor - are what most people think of when they hear "raptor". Raptors are also birds of prey, but then again, Dromaeosaurids and other Dinosaurs technically evolved into today's raptors. So it is almost as if "raptor" means the same thing

Well, there's been a theory, thanks to the discovery of the dromaeosaurid, Unenlagia from Argentina with its avian-like features, that dromaeosaurids evolved from a flying ancestor

Make the T. rex more detailed then ever! Make it like Jurassic Park one, but a different colour, and with spines and feathers.

Yeah thanks!
Yeah I was grown up with Archaeopteryx with scarlet macaw feathers and even blue-green feathers! Very cliched huh?
Now we know, thanks to the latest discovery, the true coloration of Archaeopteryx, much like some feathered dinos such as Sinosauropteryx, Anchiornis, and Microraptor!
