Description
Metriorhynchus geoffroyiiNamed by Christian Von Meyer, 1832 (Genus 1830)
Diet: Carnivore and Piscivore (Prey included fish, belemnites, and pterosaurs; it also scavenged on carcasses)
Type: Thalattosuchian (Metriorhynchid) crocodylomorph
Size: 9.8 feet (3 meters) long and 230 kilograms (for this species)
Region: Europe (England UK, France, and Switzerland) (for this species)
Age: Late Jurassic (157.3 to 155 million BC; Kimmeridgian) (for this species)
Enemies: Liopleurodon
Episode: Sea Monsters - Second Most Dangerous Sea
Info: A member of a suborder of extinct marine crocodylomorphs known as the thalattosuchians, distantly related to modern-day crocodiles and alligators despite being called "marine crocodiles", Metriorhynchus swims through the Jurassic waters with its paddle-like forelimbs and shark-like tail, catching fish, belemnites, and even ambushing unwary pterosaurs through mid air while flying low to the water, using its long, pointy, narrow snout lined with sharp, pointed teeth. Its unknown how this animal, Geosaurus, Dakosaurus, Tyrannoneustes, Torvoneustes, and other metriorhychids reproduced due to the lack of evidence, but its possible that they've might have given birth to their young since they were fully aquatic and unsuited to terrestrial life.
You know, these marine crocodylomorphs should be called MerCrocs for that reason!

It should be noted that the Sea Monsters depiction of Metriorhynchus - the one you have restored here - is inaccurate: the limbs should be shorter; the body should be more anguilliform-like, etc..

Personally, I think the Metriorhynchus should be black and white, not green. due to it living in water
