Hi, i really donΒ΄t understand a thing and im looking for someone who could explain that to me!
In many tutorials they say i should choose airbrush. But what does airbrush do? For me, it looks the same with it or without...
Would love some help... (I use photoshop 7 btw)

I don't know how Photoshop works, sorry. In Paintshop Pro, the airbrush "shoots" a constant stream of "paint" while the mouse is held down. The paintbrush, however, brushes a single stroke and has to be clicked multiple times to build layers if the opacity is quite low.

I'm a little too swamped to make another tutorial, but I'm happy to give specific advice. What is it you would like to know?

Oh, that's fine! It was a suggestion! I do have a question though: The basis for a picture like this is darkened colors right? Or is that wrong?
π: 0 β©: 1
treijim In reply to MirSanInuKag [2007-07-14 02:41:17 +0000 UTC]
Well it's what you would call a low-key image, meaning high contrast and lots of dark tones. The other type is a high key, where there is lower contrast and lighter tones. So in that regards you're right. Either way, when I paint an image, I often start with the darkest colour and lay on the layers of light, as light is truly layered onto things in real life.

Ah, I see. Now that I think about it, I guess it was quite obvious Sorry to bother you with such a question
And thank you so much!

It's no bother. Some people don't take the time to ask because they think I won't reply or something weird

Amazing, this is just what I needed. I used to use PSP 9 and I never imagined you could get an image of this quality from it.

The website is correct ._. And it's not THAT huge. It's 1/4 the size of the average tutorial.

Yeah. But average tutorials freeze my screen entirely if I have more than one window up.
