Description
Just a warning (it's in the tut, but people mightn't read it) this is NOT a guide to drawing anything. It's a guide to creating characters, especially like those from Fire Emblem. Somebody asked how I manage to make up lots of characters, so I'm sharing some of my analysis and techniquesThis file needs to be downloaded to be viewed. Oh, yeah, "axe" is meant to be "sword" obviously. I knew it already but I thought people could figure it out for themselves

I suggest 6, 7 or 8 on the GBA. Roms are the way to go, though 6 has yet to be translated well...

Wow...this is great-o-tastic! However, there is one thing that didn't quite work-when you said that Regin had lived with people he didn't know since he was young, but if he had become older, wouldn't he know some people by then? Or am I just reading too much into it?

I also said he doesn't like to attract attention to himself, so I think that'd explain him not knowing anyone.

That'd be your internet browser or something. Tried right clicking and going to save as? Or save link as? Something like that? Make sure it's not blocking downloads too. It's not something I can fix at this end

Download winzip? Or winace? Or winrar? It's standard windows applications. Your computer should've come with them, really.

then you should be able to just right click on a zipped folder, and select extract here. WidowsXP already comes with the capabilities.

you should get avast anti virus then, it'll catch those viruses before you download them (and it's freeware)

it was just a suggestion, but, i had norton on my computer before as well, it catches NOTHING. I ran avast for the first time, and it caught about 16 viruses, all on the first scan, while i had norton..

I can agree, but I think all kinds of programs actually catch rather different things. Relying on one is never substantial, imo.

I just wanted to notice that... I think there are exceptions, but vilains are often colored with dark purple variations don't you think?
Well, great job with that tutorial... it must have taken lot of time!

treijim In reply to Lumenox [2006-08-04 00:30:01 +0000 UTC]
I typed it in maybe a 3 hour sitting. Not that long. As for dark purple villains, this is true, but on FE, black is done as dark purple anyway. They're one and the same, as I seriously doubt true black armour exists. They just call it black on the games, though it'd have some purplish highlights.

treijim In reply to Lumenox [2006-08-05 01:14:15 +0000 UTC]
You ever seen real black armour though? Black is a tone, not a colour. It's highlights are refractions of whatever is shining on it. When it's the sun, it appears a dark purplish colour.

Lumenox In reply to treijim [2006-08-05 06:41:33 +0000 UTC]
Yeah black is a tone (like white, isn't it? )
Yeah yeah!! I already saw a black armor in a museum!! (well, to be honest, it looks much more like a really dark grey xD)

You've been playing way too much Fire Emblem for way too long.
Very hardcore lists and descriptions, bro. D:

I might have to piddle around with this to think of a new pchat character. :B Damn thee, artist block!
Actually, I would find this to be helpful down the road... *Goes to openCanvas and scribbles*
;0 Good job.
