Description Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!

One of my favourite looks, thanks to the time I spent in Harajuku. Apart from the Lolita, it was really difficult to think up a typical "style" for Visual Kei - the movement's very eclectic.

As with all my work, please DON'T steal this! If you want to use it for whatever purposes, email me and ask me first.

Even though this is close to Goth lolita it isn't. Goth lolita is very specific. Even more specific than this.
It is the Goth style also know as the little girl goth. It involves black frilly dresses for girls and cute black little boy gentleman clothes for boys. They almost always wear a top hat, mini top hat, or another accessory on the head. They are known to carry a doll, teddy bear wear pale skin make-up, and they usually have a copy of Alice in wonderland in hand. They wear mary-jane shoes, boots that go up to the knee, and/or plain black high heels. Girls are known to where stockings and or lace pantyhoes. The girls usually keep their hair in two curly ponytails on the side of the head (though other hairstyles have been seen). Boys keep their hair short and simple (though that has been varying) Goth lolita is known as cute goth as well. and this group can be seen with laced umbrella's and poket watches. You may often find them with a small dog on a black leash possibly with a top hat on or another gothic lolita item of clothing. You will find them around noon having tea/coffee at a goth poetry club or quiet tea house. In japan they are known to have to constantly pose for tourists for pictures.

That is goth lolita ^^

I cannot agree with You that Malice Mizer performed euro-pop. Especially not when there were only 3 of them, on while Klaha sang for them songs like Beast of Blood
Allthough... its funny

Amen to that, sistah ^.^ Although I do admit that Euro-pop has infiltrated a huge portion of the Kei scene nowadays...

I was going to say that you have somewhat misrepresented the gothic-lolita culture, but I can see that others have already done this, so I will not. However, the characters are adorable! I am totally enjoying going through your Goth (stereo) types, and favoriting the ones that I can relate to, lolz!!!

Gothic Loltia isn't at all what you put it. It wasn't inspired by the Western-goth movment, it was inspired by the Rococo and Vicotrian are style fashion, and isn't infulenced by the french maid. Although I reallllyyy wana give that guy you drew a hug for some reason XD.

kei fashion isnt included in goth fashion normaly. visual takes from many sub cultures and mixes them together (goth is included, but it takes from punk alot more).and cosplay isnt a fashion it never has been its a hobby

sorry if i made that sound insaulting but i felt i had to point this out (im visual kei and cosplay lol) but i realy do enjoy the series.

I feel that you have classified Lolita unjustly. The term "Elegant Gothic Lolita" was made up by Mana, and Lolita on its own is a fashion and not a Gothic subculture. There is, however a subculture of Lolita called Gothic Lolita. Like all Lolita, however, it is not directly influenced by North American Gothic fashion and has much sweeter themes revolving around Lace, Bats, spiders, crosses, ruffles, ect. Lolita in general is based off of children's outfits of the Victorian Era, Baroque and Rococo periods respectively. Please do a little more research before you post something or you may offend someone.
Thanks for reading,
Celly

Wow, I love this series, it's so cute and funny, yet informative. Though I do rather resent Malice Mizer being called cheesy I'm hoping someday, after very slowly acquiring such a wardrobe, to combine the steampunk and visual kei styles. But alas, it's expensive XD
