Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love Goth culture (as you should probably know by now!) and I truly believe that Goths are some of the nicest people out there.But it isn't a bad thing to laugh at one's self once in a while
The Love Cats is one of my favourite karaoke songs...
Anyway, this (and other comics) were the "Easter Egg" that was on BlackWaterFall.com, so some sharp-eyed deviants have already seen it

I think you've made a little typo - it should be "mainstream tripe" not "mainstream trite". You can say that mainstream stuff IS trite, but it's an adjective not a noun so you can't say "mainstream trite".

Now that's synergy! We have a lot in common; I also draw a vector-style webcomic (not really the same style as yours, but similar), and also take the "I love my subculture but can still laugh at myself/us" approach. Only I do it with the computer geek/hacker subculture... mainly. But I just posted a re-render from a story arc where some of my characters attended a metal concert, just to address the crossover between geeks and metal-heads / Goths.
Say, in your opinion, does this strip at least make sense ?
