Don't think I need to explain what happened when I first posted these pages but since the first book came out on Wednesday I'm finally able to post everything... at least the first 10pgs.This is the 6th page of the first ten page Nightrunner story I illustrated currently in Detective Comics Annual #12

Really? Yeah I guess, just evolved I think, hopefully for the better. Think I just have a better handle on what I want my end result to be and how to achieve it.
Yeah I do all my own blk/wht line work. Usually I don't use much texture but on this story I used a lot of halftone brushes and splatter brushes to get the texture effects. Over the years doing storyboards I began to strictly draw everything on the Wacom tablet, no paper. So I've kinda combined the two with comics; I draw my layouts with pencil and paper, scan that, and most of the finish drawing I do in photoshop. Really enjoying the amount of control I have over everything but do miss the visceral quality of finishing by hand. But then again, I never did like my inking too much.

Manwich colored it? Awesome. I knew he was helping out on the Spirit, but I didn't know he's started coloring for reals.

yup, looking good too!! Just got him coloring this Supergirl story I'm currently working on as well. Gotta check out the second part of the Nightrunner story comming out next Wednesday, he really rocked those colors in my opinion.
