Hoooooly crap! My shoulders are killing me after this one.... It's also nearly 5am!Well, this is a bit of fan-art of Amy, based on 's Sonic fan-fiction about Amy Rose.
Ya know, I've never much liked Amy, even back when I was a kid when Sonic CD came out. I just never liked the fact that she was just there to be annoying to poor old Sonic.
And honestly, she's still not much more than that as far as I'm concerned.But~ ~UltimateGameMaster 's fan-fic has actually made me start to like the character (or at least his rendition of her). He's building her up to be a much stronger character both physically and mentally.

One of the best - and now my most favourite - designs I have ever seen anyone give Amy Rose. I agree totally with what you've said, when I come across a fanfiction that writes her as a strong and independent character, I love her.

yea seriously! they should do the same with all the characters like Square Enix did with Sora & his friends and KHs! Im sure its not gonna hurt their games! Besides I already think of Classic Sonic as baby Sonic! Same goes for Amy and Knuckles!

Yeah, she definitely needs to drop the whiney cutesy act a little. But then again, I guess they don't want to change her too much, considering there are fans who'd not like change, as well as the fact that if they were to change her this dramatically it'd take up quite a big chunk of game-time dedicated to Amy to explain the change.

Yeah, that would be a problem, though given the way some of the sonic games have been in the past, I don't think anybody would notice. If there's one the the Sonic the Hedgehog team hasn't learned, it's that people want to play Sonic in a Sonic game.

Huh. Now they just need to learn to have him not talk at all. I liked Sonic a lot more when he communicated entirely through expressions and gestures. Sure it was only that way because console limitations prevented them from adding talking into the game, but that's a case where I think the limitations made it better.
