The line-art is actually a tattoo design I did tonight for a friend of mine. He asked me to draw the happy Buddha wearing untied sneakers.
He said it meant that the happy Buddha represented a happy, optimistic view, and the sneakers are saying "walk a mile in their shoes" type of thing. I thought that was nice. x) I just felt like colouring it. I've been meaning to draw Buddha for a while now, but I was going to draw Gautama Buddha originally. But I'm glad I've drawn the happy Buddha.. Always makes me feel all happy inside, seeing his adorable grin.
