Art trade for kiwicoy. She made this lovely cross stitch of my art: [link]And offered to do a trade so that i could have it. needless to say, I jumped at the offer!
This was done with pencil crayon on grey/taupe paper. A first for me, and I quite like the results. Next time, I'll try paper with less texture.

Actually, the swirl is human. I made two friends pose for me, and he had a muscular back, and that swirl was totes there!

Oh, God, how much i love this! I really like the color choices, Spock's greenish skin looks in particular really great and muscular, and I love how pissed off McCoy seems to be. He's just not giving up on his whining now is he?
And I actually like just that amount of texture of paper, it gives it somewhat more artistic value in my taste.
Oh, and I haven't yet to say that those tiles on the back really sum up the whole picture, really sexy and steamy<3 Great

I had never used pencil crayons on coloured paper before, so this was a real learning experience, and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I'm really perving on TOS lately. (the Original series). I never cared much for Kirk when I was younger, but the 'new' captain has given me an appreciation for the 'old' captain.

Very nice pose. I'm always a sucker for backs, and the arms up over the head like that is just... mmmrow.
I don't mind the paper texture overly much. lol, especially on the tiles; it actually works really well there. But it does make it a bit harder to see all the details you put in.
