This was partly inspired by a certain wonderful artist's (
I thought about making an extra panel about Lyra lying on her back, but it would have taken way more time to make it (unless I'd trace over JJ's pic... but one of my principles is that I don't trace over non-official-show drawings. People spent lots of time making them wonderful pictures, I think it wouldn't be right on my part to make a lousy vector on it...). But I think the last panel says all, and you can see JJ's pics on how to imagine it.
So we meet again, Mr. Floor! My arch-nemesis!

This was a genius set up to 's series!
I lost a little of my sense of connection *or I guess you could say suspension of disbelief* when I saw "Oh noes" as Lyra's reaction, the meme response kind of dates the comic. Maybe if it was in smaller text to the side or something, it could be appropriate but maybe that's just me. But either way, this was a great job setting up Lyra as having a guilty conscience for waking up and nuzzling BonBon. Keep up the great work!

You know, I got to ask, and forgive me if this is obvious: does Heartstrings have a TV Tropes page?
I just love how often Lyra falls down. The ground is as much of her nemesis as Derpy! Also, it's just darling how such wakes up, sees where she is, closes her eyes... then opens them wide again.
It's so cute, also, how Lyra thinks Bonbon will be asleep when resting her head on Lyra's.
