I like this tut, very helpful
I have Photoshop Elements 6.0 and my problem is my brushes. I'm not sure if you have to adjust the pen pressure on your tablet or what, but my lines don't taper at the end. They stay rounded. Thats the reason I can't do realistic manes and tails, they look like blobs. And my lineart isn't very good either. This might be the wrong tutorial to post this on, but do you think you can help me?

Okay, before I can help, do you have a tablet/what kind is it?

Oh, great

I've got a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, and 6.0 came with it.

First, check the settings on your brush tool. When you open your Photoshop, click on the brush tool. Up on the bar with the brush size thing, click the little black arrow between the picture of the airbrush and the brush tool. Make sure the 'Size' box is checked, then draw a bit with the brush tool push harder and softer and such and see if it does anything

The second thing I always check is if Wacom has a new driver on their website. That usually helps me out Download that and see if it helps. [link]

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I wanted to keep the message in my inbox so I could download it on both computers ^^ The download really improved my system, although I'm still messing around as to how to get the darn brush to taper. Its the exact same on both computers, I have Size selected and it still does nothing if I push harder or softer. I try brush tablet options and it says the link is broken and the page cannot be found. But I'll keep looking, thanks for trying
