Description
we are so lonely.upd: the models are ~Mashastik and ~Narenn
it made me very sad to realize that people
don't even see the difference between me and my models.
even if we look completely different they ask "is that you?
did you change your hair color/made plastic surgery/
changed bodies with your friend?"
even if there is a half of a girl in the background,
they ask "is that Vla?".
no one got the idea of the picture.
no one asked of the title. why it was named like that.
everyone is curious who the models are.
that is... disgusting.
and yes. there IS milk in the tube.
that is the main part of the concept.
...
I have nothing else to say and
I'm not sure if I'll be wishing to tell you anything
in the future.
I'm sorry I wasted our time.

it's beautiful, but it's so sad.. it reminds me of a prison.. maybe it's the stripes

Crying over spilled milk right?
This is an amazing shot, the black and white has an amazing concept and doesn't look outplayed or over done.
I kinda feel bad for your models though, I wouldn't want to sit in milk for very long

When I first read the title, it made me think of the word sleepover, and then I connected the two: a cry-over would be inviting
someone over to spend a night together, crying. Then I saw the picture though, read the comments, and realized that my interpretation of your work was probably wrong, even though I still like my concept of a cry-over :I
It is an interesting piece, and I would love to know the story behind it.

i don't understand why people are sucking up to you.. maybe they just want you to stick around so you can leak any more info about the famous boy/girl, Bellz. There's no point trying to please people or expect a certain response on DA, it's pointless. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment. I'm annoyed at myself for even bothering to writing this..
and your photo.. you'd never know there was milk cause of the tones and it being so still. I don't really understand the concept. And i'm sure even if we asked what is the concept, you wouldn't tell us, would you.. =] otherwise, the only thing i find interesting in this photo is the angle. The rest of your gallery's sound though.

so ironic text!
But, believe me, on dA are't only people, they ask questions like it.
There are people, they love art, too.
so, please, in next time without texts like this.
Your works are interesting, and, believe, artistic.
greetings.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the title and the tub filled with milk have anything to do with the saying, "It's useless to cry over spilt milk." ? [or something along the lines of that]

how did the models stay still long enough for the ripples of the milk to stop? that doesn't seem like a comfortable position to sit still in anyways very cool.

why is it called cry-over?
the blueish colours add a depressing, sad effect, and the milk in the tub makes it really surreal and different.
The positioning of the models is really good.
I love it.

I would LOVE to know what is behind this photo.
why the milk
why the bath tub
why the position of the models
why the stripes.
I personally look at photos as a whole and not just the people in it, I'm sorry you seem so bitter over how some people don't react like this. =[
thats just the way it is with some people.

i'm sorry to hear that.
on a brighter note though, it has been one of me and my friends goals in life (if you'd call if that) to take a bath in milk.
you've inspired us, we did it, our clothes smell.
i love the stripes. black and white and milk. it's a good thing.

I have a question.
Why is it called cry-over.
Does it have anything to do with the milk not exactly being milk if not in the picture it being considered as tears?
And does the positioning of the second person have anything to do with the other.
Cuz the one standing up somehow looks more"confident" or "demanding" in a way.

Dudette, people are morons. You can't change them and their superficiality. You just gotta accept it. As long as you enjoy your work. I always tell that myself. That's why I don't do stuff for people anymore, only for myself. Because I know, no matter how stupid some comments are or how people don't see the work and meaning BEHIND the picture, I don't care. If they don't get it, then fine. It's their loss. It's the thing THEY're missing out on. It's not your fault. But I think, many people on here love your work, they just don't write 10000 word comments and interpretations to let you know that. Of course, the thing about the models is outright stupid, but there're enough people who appriciate your work and are actually interested in that. So please keep on sharing your wonderful photography - it really means a lot to me. You're brilliant at what you do.

you know what Ree, it is sad all about your description is true i mean i believe that people in deviantart has lost their horizons or simply they don't know what DA is for, i believe that the image of something says a lot...
when i first saw your picture... well this picture, it is funny i don't need to read the description to know it is not you, and that in fact is some nice looking friend of yours, but that it not what makes the picture interesting...
what makes a picture interesting actually is the concept behind the image... even though sometimes people says that an image says more than 1000 words
i am sad you feel sick about people's comments, actually! i get sad sometimes when people can't give a descent critique to something i do, because what i am wishing for is to actually better my work in the further future!!!!!
thanks for telling that what was in the bathtub was milk at the begining i was not sure, i thought that is was the bottom of the tube sorry!!!
much kisses

I like this picture...and many others you took.
The main thing I wanted to say was people, no matter how old are they, are only interest on pretty and dramatic things. Out of 10 persons looking at a picture you have 5 who don't know what to look, 2 who thinks about dinner and maybe three that actually are interested in it. What is most disgusting of everything is that those interested often do not say anything, and you have to read a lot of silly comentaries of those who don't even know how do you look like or pay no attention at all at the name of the picture.
I remember a man called Kevin Carter who took a picture of a vulture near a child , wainting for the kid to die to eat it. After he took the picture he left the place...no one knows what happened to the girl...he won the Pullitzer and a few moths later-out of all the tragedy and sorrow pictures and a severall other things he saw and we don't know of him-he took his own life.
Many people knows that picture, and speaks of it all the time...they seem to enjoy this conversations and this things, they eat beauty and sorrow every day for breakfast..so...It is quite easy to see they can't even stay a moment to thik about concepts..you will have to live around this man...that doesnt mean you cant find no one who tryes to see what you wanted to say...it means you have to wait a bit more to find them.
I still wait for someone who finds out why do I draw the picture named "apples of the sun"..For what it's worth I think its a very nice picture, even with all those people saying"do not cry over the spilled milk" trying to cast some sort of spell that means"i got it!.

You cant really tell the expressions of the models but the feeling of the picture is one of sadness/despiration. Anyways. Nice Shot... Though I bet the milk made a mess out of the bath tub
