...Yeah! Here is Garnet wearing a futuristic, sci-fi suit while Kichona is a fairy for fantasy theme. I spend way too much time on this, but I still call them colour doodle because the outlines are messy. Excuse my poor taste in character design and colouring choices for clothes, I didn't think too much as I just drew without much thought as I go. I'm not sure why I also drew a giant jellyfish-like thing in space, plus I overdid with its tentacle-stingers-like-thingy. >8^VBleh, whatever~ I still like it...ah what it feels like to draw again.

Hello Tran, I'm back from being sick and depressed. All your drawings in this meanwhile are a success, especially this one here. I love how Kichona is showing a lot of her wonderful legs and sideboob, and how Garnet's mecha suit is so awesome, like if he mega evolved.
Congrats for managing to create that piggy game and those egg models, you are awesome (unlike me, I can't create crap).

Sometimes I forget how large Kichona's tentacles are XD. She looks awesome in this outfit. Black tentacles look good on her as well. The wings definitely stand out to me, it really brightens up the piece and good job with blending the colors together. As for garnet, I like the outfit design and the red/black color scheme, especially his boots, they remind me of a version on Superman. I see that the tentacles are a darker red than usual, it makes a good contrast to the outfit. I also like his pose, who knew one could look so hardcore by sitting down XD

LOL It could be my style that Kichona's tentacle hair are big. But I like it, no change! Mwahaha. xD Β Thank you! I love black colours so much, it make other bright colour stand out and made good contrast with each other. I'm glad, most people seem to also love her wings the most. Mission accomplish, heh.
Thanks for liking Garnet's design too! It's hard to give a decent looking design. I took many sci-fi suit for inspiration. ^^ Hah! He's hardcore by sitting down? He's a grumpy, angry squiddo for sure too. xD His pose is inspired by Kaworu Nagisa (ssli.ebayimg.com/images/g/KCMA⦠)'s pose from Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series. :>

I think the big tentacles really help on emphasizing your style, they look so cute XD. Mission accomplished on the wings. I wonder how things would go if inklings could fly during a turf war(at least temporarily)Β ah, I see. I haven't seenΒ Neon Genesis EvangelionΒ yet but I hope to get around to it at some point. I bet he and wolverine from X men could hit it off well haha.Β

It is fun giving character design for each, coming up with Garnet's design is the toughest. The color choices for him especially, ahh. :>> While I wasn't able to get Garnet's color reference done by now, his dark red "hair" is something I imagine for his prototype design.

Iβm surprised how little I cared about this Splatfest. I didnβt go for it the second it started, I was busy for most of today so I couldnβt do it until nighttime, but even when I could, I only wanted to get to Fiend status and get the Dust Blocker 2000 over at Grizzcoβs... oh well, hope you have fun Trany-San.
