Description
Sometimes I miss Punk! Rogue. Sometimes. She’s gone elegant and space-age and then classic again. This is kinda a blend of everything. She’s got the ‘dress’ look, which I guess is okay. No hood, because I really don’t know why that started and I don’t care. Having a hood and a long jacket seems to be too dangerous of a ‘heavy’ hitter like Rogue. Too much material to grab and throw into things, right? It’s okay, but I see the flaws that my illness got me to make in my haste.

I always kinda figured Rogue's strong enough, and her flight ability would mean that any attempt to throw her by grabbing her jacket/hood would just result in it getting torn off, but there also isn't really any reason to have it aside from aesthetics, and this still looks good.

I'd guess hood comes with trying to pass unnoticed and "don't touch me". It fits teen runaway movie Rogue pretty well, and I mostly know her from the movies or as Dazzler's persecutor decades ago.

Hey I was wondering if I could post a copy of this on a Rogue appreciation thread? Or at least a link to this image?

Pretty sure the hood thing started with Age of Apocalypse, and then carried into the main X-books when Chris Bachalo came on-board.
I agree with your reasons against it, though. Rogue's an out-front character. Hoods are for the folks lurking in the back.
