Description
This redesign is based off of my Superman redesign I did way back in August. A more futuristic suit with some plating in areas and a mesh for flexing and moving. I liked the cape so I kept it, but imo, her boots were so tall in her current form, why expose the legs anyway? So I made her suit all one piece.Although in hindsight, maybe that red should be a bit lower. Hmm.

Love it, no longer does she look like a cheerleader or captain of the swim team..
i am so convinced that many of those who are head the conceptual design departments Β at many of the comic publishing houses really need to get laid more; if not they really need to work on those issues that should have been dealt with back in highschool..Β

Why don't they make this the regular(ish) design instead of insisting on that f---ing skirt?

I'm a guy, so I'm going to say that I like the classic mini skirt look. That said, this has got the classic look beat by miles. A balance between hot, dignified, and heroic without fall too far to the old heroins tropes and keep what Supergirl stands for.
I love it. Good work!Β

Supergirl is all dressed up in a Kryptonian armored suit for battle.

SO MUCH BETTER than the 52 redesign.... I don't know what they were thinking giving her this long sleeved shirt and then putting on this detachable red space diaper thing to cover her lower bits. And yes, I will never stop seeing that red panty thing as space diaper because that's what it looks like to me. it also looks like a giant, used period pad.
Β Why is it that every fanmade stuff I've seen so far is basically better some of the 52 designs?

Very elegant. Although, instead of lowering the red, add a bit more

Hmm....Maybe. I did a re-visit recently and went back to the one-piece. Its okay, but gotta find that perfect even-ness.

Of course. And, food for thought, maybe gold around the waist...

Amazing how you made an iconic, recognizable Supergirl without putting a big red heart on her vagina. I really wish DC'd have you on board for costuming.

Mahmud Asrar posted up a bunch of design sketches for Supergirl too, and some of them were pretty neat.
It baffles. It truly does.

I kinda agree with you: the red marks should be a bit lower, breaking up the color somewhat. Other than that, fantastic design. Very cool Supergirl.
