Here's my problem with the 'new' Superman. If you're going to make him the man of tomorrow, MAKE HIM THE MAN OF TOMORROW.

Do I like the armored version of Supes now, meh. I could take it or leave it. It becomes a question of details. Jim Lee LOVES his details and that's what's really appealing to his art.

And as much as my WW showed a 'classic historical' look because she SHOULD have a look from that time, Superman should be shown as a glimpse into the future. My version does more emphasis on the armor plates. Plates where you need them, mesh where you don't, but need to flex and stretch.
