Description
Built just before the outbreak of the Great War and considered by it's designer Lawson Billington, his most sucessful design, and he would build his own scale model of the engine, whilst very Brighton in design they would be the first on the railway to employ both the 2-6-0 wheel agrangement and Belipaire firebox.

Ten engines would be built between 1913 and 1916 and a further seven from 1920 to 1921.

When the engines were taken into Southern Railway stock they had superheating pipes and their cabs domes and chimneys shortened and flattend, and pistons having their forward, Piston thing? removed as well as plateing up the tender rails.

I have included quite a few extra boilers.
