I've always wanted to draw wings since I saw *Nithak draw them but I've failed XD
I'm sorry the wings look funny XD I TRIED!!!

I tried having a demolished city behind him but it didn't look right xD

Wow, he has an intense pose and the setting really adds to it. His stance gives him a sort of "strong" look, ya know? Expression adds to his cool aura.
The background seems like the perfect setting to me. I love the gradient oranges of the sky and the swept strokes of the terrain. *v*
Now, I have something else to say. ahem. WIIIIIINGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!1!1 They are frayed so nicely; the shape is perfect. The inside lines denoting feathers give a nice inner shape as well. Are the black splotches shading or something else? Anyway, I think you draw wings well!

I FAIL AT WINGS XDD
See, on my computer what I did was I make the tips of the wings lighter so it's sort of gradated but on everyone else's computer it just looks black D:
In order to make the winds look frayed I had to use a dark colour and that's maybe why they look splotchy XDDD
