I've been struggling to say anything about season 7 since, between every SpongeBob season, this one has the least identity. I obviously like it and consider it GOOD, but there's nothing about it that's special. Hell, if this season all of a sudden vanished, I don't think I'd miss it. I don't think it deserves to be lumped in with season 6 since that season has a whole realm of problems, where this one has several stinkers, which are among the worst of the series. Besides those though, a majority of episodes are still at least decently funny, and that's all I ask of any SB episode to be lol

both, but beware of some shitty episodes like face freeze and spongebob you're fired in seasons 8-onwards

Yeah, I know that there are still bad episodes, I saw a lot of scorecards, only I wanted to know if the good episodes are funnier, has better plots or less mean spirited, because in season 6 and what I see from season 7 there are some episodes that are lacking in humor, has an uninteresting plot or are mean spirited

Yeah, I also think season 6 is better because the good episodes are funnier, but this season, even the good ones, are lacking in jokes, only a handful are really funny, but I need to see the post Great Patty Caper episodes

I know, for me if it's funny, it's good.
I watched some post great patty caper and I find that the episodes are a bit funnier, so it's more enjoyable to me.
I'm watching all the post-movie seasons because there are still good episodes and sometimes I like episodes that everybody hates.

I like a lot of episodes that others tend to hate... or I'm just mixed on them.
speaking of post-movie, i don't think i've told you this but season 4 is my favorite season of the show

I liked season 4, but I prefer season 3, because I feel that season 3 episodes are funnier, but season 4 has some really good episodes like The lost mattress, MM and BB VI, Krusty Towers, or Mr puff you're fired that I find that are same or better than season 3 episodes, and I liked The thing too, but not Squid wood (I find that episode more annoying that funny).

Unpopular opinion, but I like "Fungus among us" I understand why people hate it but I like this type of plots, it's a guilty pleasure of mine
The post second movie episodes are a lot funnier? It has episodes that you laugh throughout of it?

for the most part, yes, but it does have its duds like sportz, code yellow, and the clam whisperer imo

I watched some season 8 episodes, yeah, it's better than season 7, but isn't great, due to the lacking in jokes or bland plot in some episodes, but I still haven't watched some episodes that I heard are great like Ghoul fools, mermaidman begins or Hello Bikini Bottom. I find the episode "Inspongeiac" pretty good, but not amazing because the ending wasn't funny, but I liked the rest
I see that after Season 9 the animation is more wacky, I don't mind that, I watched Mickey Mouse 2013 that has wacky animation and I liked it a lot.
Did you watch episodes from season 11? I heard that are mixed bag, and that the new episode "Ink lemonade" is terrible, like seasons 6-7 terrible episodes

I've only seen up to Pat the Horse in season 11. Yeah I do hear that Ink Lemonade is awful but I haven't seen it so I can't judge yet. I'm glad you at least like season 8.

Did you watch a show called The Amazing World of Gumball? That show tries to throw a variety of jokes in every episode, so you find always jokes that made you laugh.
When I started Spongebob, the humor seemed pretty lame compared to Gumball, but the humor was getting better and better the more I watch, seasons 3 was the best in humor, with really funny episodes like "Spongebob meets the strangler"
But in seasons 4-5, was a bit inconsistent with the humor, but the good episodes are pretty funny and throws a variety of jokes, like Krusty towers or Krabs a la mode.
And in seasons 6-8 there aren't any really funny episodes, yeah, some episodes has some good jokes but there aren't any episodes that makes you laughing constantly.
If post-second-movie Spongebob throw a variety of jokes in almost every episode, it would be great

Season 2 is the best season for me, seasons 3-5 are good but not as good as season 2, but still WAAAAAAAAAAY funnier than seasons 6-8 of Spongebob
Seasons 6-8 of Spongebob aren't as bad as some people say for me, but I miss the pure comedy episodes

That is normal, pre-movie has duds too like ripped pants (I think people like this episode due to nostalgia) or dumped, but if the majority of the episodes are decent or higher, it's fine

Ok, but I think, even if gets better, it won't reach the seasons 1-5 quality episodes like pizza delivery, band geeks, wet painters, spongebob meets the strangler, krusty towers or krabs a la mode, at least it will be a lot better than episodes like ripped pants, dumped or to love a patty

it doesn't need to reach the quality of those episodes either, as the show has found a way to be good in a new way, which is really impressive for a show that's been on for 19 years now
