Same. I used to be very active on the digital social justice front, lots of petition signing-- then in November a lot of things happened at once, being diagnosed with depression in December, and then the three ring circus my government has become... between all that I just had to stop. I got tired of my email inbox reminding just how wretched the world is, and I'm still trying to find the fine line between I want the world I live in to be a better place and I want to take care of myself mentallyΒ so that I can walk it.Β

The fight won't end until you put down your weapons and accept what humans are. They're not perfect, they don't agree, they're close minded.
Racism is an idea instilled since birth.
Terrorism is caused by extremists who follow whatever path they're guided to believe.
Sexism is plain and simply moronic.
Hate lives in everyone.
We stop these from existing, leave people to their own ideals. Stop censoring and changing the facts. And open the children coming down the line to better and more productive ideals.
Then these will end.
But the internal struggle is yours and yours alone. No one knows you better than yourself.

I don't think I agree here. I will not stop fighting against injustice. And my weapon is my pen, it's my actions, my words, my art. I will not wait for an other generation to come change the world. Yes, we are not perfect. But I believe the world is good, the majority wants peace for itself and others. The haters are just louder.Β

If you think the world is good just look at natural disasters. This world destroys to create new things. It's the rules of nature. And trying to fight them or ignoring them is only hurtful to you.
