Description Sorry that I'm a little late getting this part out. I promise the next one won't be left till the end of the month.

Premiering on the 14th of April in 2012 and turning nine years old this year is Avatar: The Last Airbender's sequel series. The Legend of Korra took what worked with the original and attempted to expand upon it further by putting the new Avatar, essentially the chosen one tasked with bring order, through the wringer of a world modelled after the rip roarin' twenties, where industrialisation has displaced the spirituality of bending. On top of following Korra try to find her place in a world that actively rejects the need for an Avatar, the series explored the themes philosophy vs political ideologies to an even grander scale and the captivatingly inventive fight sequences are taken to greater heights with more cinematic angles and new in-universe elemental techniques, all propped up even further by the advent of crisp High-Definition resolution.

After that comes The Angry Beavers, premiering on the 19th way back in 1997. This now twenty-four year old series is one I've definitely heard a lot of praise heaped onto by fellow users on this platform likeΒ doraeartdreams-aspy , though I unfortunately haven't gotten around to watching in bulk as of yet. From what little I've seen it does seem to stand out as noteworthyΒ for subverting Nickelodeon's typical comedy duo dynamic by having the cynical straight man, Norbert, be the more chill and easy-going one that has things go his way and the more eccentric one, Dagget, ending up the butt of jokes more often through his impulsive actions. In some ways I've heard it's like a 90s precursor to Cartoon Network's Regular Show.

And on that note, The Mighty B! is another show I REALLY want to get around to watching more of. Airing 13 years ago on April 26th in 2008, this show was the brainchild of actress and comedian Amy Poehler, SpongeBob Squarepants veteran Erik Wiese, and his wife Cynthia True. This show as of late caught my attention from the "Mighty B! Out of Context" twitter account making the rounds, which you can check out here: twitter.com/NoConTheMightyB. I definitely remember this show not being looked on as fondly back when I started out on DA, though it seems like history may be looking to vindicate it.
