Description This is certainly one of the highlights of my trip.

Antelope Canyon is probably the most famous of slot canyons in the world. Located in Northern Arizona, these sandstone walls wave and swirl majestically. At certain times of the year, particularly in the midsummer, sunlight beams through the crevices into the canyon grounds, creating these beautiful beams that light up the passageways.

The colours of the walls are also intriguing. Due to the way light is handled in the canyon, we see shades of magenta along with the actual ochre colouration of the rock. Together, they create a landscape unlike any other.
