Description
Couple a drawings from a while back. Theres this particular type of ancient egyptian Pharoah's helmet that is very tall and elegant in a very alien way, it slopes back subtly, giving the wearer this aquatic look, like a mollusk. I've always thought some variant on it would be a great look for the elves, perhaps an often feminine or unisex design, telerin perhaps, maybe the kind of thing Galadriel or Aredhel would don. In my own imagining such a thing could be an elven forerunner to the numenorean karma helmet.

The large device behind the figure below is Melian's, I guess that makes her a sindar, I was thinking aredhel for the woman above. The carved dwarf bust I think would be found in some passage in Menegroth; the idea of the elves and dwarves working together to make the "fairest of all dwellings" and their cultural styles and instincts cross pollinating as tolkien describes is very fertile ground for imagination
