Well, here we are with my latest Danny Phantom pic as Tucker begins his campaign to win his first mayoral election. While Tucker may have been given the job as Mayor at the end of Phantom Planet, it still doesn't change the fact that if he wants to KEEP it, he IS eventually going to have to get elected.What we see here, is an early campaign poster, outlining one of his political platforms. Those of you familiar with the TV series will notice something of a recurring theme from his Student Council President campaign. And you'll also notice that Danny and Sam, just as then, have more than a few misgivings about this particular campaign strategy.
Oh, for those of you who are wondering what the deal is with the robot...well, you obviously haven't read my fanfic series yet. For those of you who have, yes, this is Tucker's robot, built primarily to allow Tucker access to his school classes while conducting his mayoral duties. Ostentatious? Of course.^_^ But it also serves the dual function as a powerful ghost-fighting tool, should the need arise. And in Amity Park, that need arises quite frequently.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy this new pic. Remember, "Mayor Foley" is counting on your support.

In my fanon, Tucker doesn't pursue politics beyond a term or two, but Sam will now that there's a precedent. She therefore complains that pretty much everything he does during his entire term is sabotaging her chances. (Which... is probably true. I mean, you know the first thing he does now that he's famous is acquire a harem.)

Well, my plans for Tucker are definitely a little different, especially with regards to his future self. Of course, I'm not that far along yet, so...

Much like how Danny mentioned to Tucker in that episode about his campaign, I still find it to be very creepy. Apparently Tucker never watched the Terminator movies or the Matrix movies.

Well, that is the big nightmare of AI if it isn't handled properly. But that's the ultimate thing, isn't it? If you're going to program machines to think like people, then you can no longer treat them as tools. Otherwise, you're gonna have a problem. Still, I wouldn't worry too much. I'm pretty sure SOMEONE is going to steer Tucker away from this particular campaign platform.^_^

Well, in my fanfic series, Tucker's had someone else providing him with sound political advice. I should probably think of some more things to do with her, now that I mention it.

Well, Danny and Sam are more annoyed than embarrassed in this pic. They may not be running Tucker's campaign, but they still have to put up with it.
Well, Sam's leaning against the robot, not necessarily thinking about pushing it over. Although that might have been a little more obvious if I hadn't been forced to cut everyone off at the legs to make everything fit on the page. My original plan was to be able to see everybody from head-to-toe. Unfortunately, the pic size and the paper size had a bit of a disagreement.^_^

Actually, I didn't forget the beret or the glasses that the robot sometimes wears. I simply chose not to add them. Since this was my first effort drawing the robot, I felt it best to present it "au naturale", so to speak.

Well, that was definitely the kind of kiss I wanted to project between them. I mean, on the rare occasions when you saw a Kim/Ron kiss on the show, they always seemed to be kind of tame. In my fics, whenever they kiss, they just go all out and get right into it. So if I was going to draw a kiss between them, I wanted to show nothing less.

Well, that's the concept I'm going with. I haven't introduced it in my fanfic series yet (that'll actually be a couple stories from now). But ultimately, the idea is that at the end of "Phantom Planet", the City passed a bill that allowed Tucker to be APPOINTED to the Mayor's position. However, like I said, if he wants to KEEP the job, he IS actually going to have to get ELECTED at some point.
