Well, here we are with my latest Danny Phantom pic as Tucker begins his campaign to win his first mayoral election. While Tucker may have been given the job as Mayor at the end of Phantom Planet, it still doesn't change the fact that if he wants to KEEP it, he IS eventually going to have to get elected.What we see here, is an early campaign poster, outlining one of his political platforms. Those of you familiar with the TV series will notice something of a recurring theme from his Student Council President campaign. And you'll also notice that Danny and Sam, just as then, have more than a few misgivings about this particular campaign strategy.
Oh, for those of you who are wondering what the deal is with the robot...well, you obviously haven't read my fanfic series yet. For those of you who have, yes, this is Tucker's robot, built primarily to allow Tucker access to his school classes while conducting his mayoral duties. Ostentatious? Of course.^_^ But it also serves the dual function as a powerful ghost-fighting tool, should the need arise. And in Amity Park, that need arises quite frequently.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy this new pic. Remember, "Mayor Foley" is counting on your support.

Oh, I'm not saying that Hotep-Ra wouldn't still go with his "try to make amends" plan to con Tucker. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure how working with his opponent would give him any kind of an advantage in getting to Tucker, so...
Oh yeah, Tucker's opponent is definitely going to have to be a grown up. Actually, at the end of this upcoming Hotep-Ra story I'm going to write, Tucker's secretary, Tanya, will be pointing out all the challenges that he'll be facing when he runs.

Ra will try to make amends with Tucker so he can get an inside view on his platform, and inform the competition what Tuck plans to do.
He'll be a mole, and the best part is, nobody will believe he is, because of how big a help he's become.
And you know what the ultimate karma of Tucker's election would be?
If it was Tanya he was going up against.

Hmmm, that sounds like a little too drawn-out of a storyline for Hotep-Ra. I could see this taking place over the course of a couple of days, but what you're suggesting sounds like it would take weeks. Plus, I really don't feel like cramming him into a bunch of other stories.
As for Tucker's opponent, Tanya's not an option. I've actually got other plans for Tanya. Plans that will be made clear at the end of my next story.

Well, see, what I was thinking (and this was mostly due to the fact that I kind of missed a part of what I read in your idea) was that this story would only take place over the next couple of days. And that the effects on Tucker would be far more noticeable and pronounced, so Danny and the others have to shut down Hotep-Ra fast.
Okay, as for Tanya, I get now that you were kidding (hard to tell when someone's joking on a computer screen). But judging by the fact that you said anything at all, I'm guessing that means you've become a fan of hers. Well, if so, then trust me when I say, you're really going to like what I've got planned for her in the next story.^_^

You gotta admit though. With Tucker leading Amity Park, it might become more advanced than it was in "The Ultimate Enemy", (at least until Dark Danny blew it up).

True, since it IS only a matter of time before Tucker will have to run. In one of the future fanfics in my series, I'm planning to reveal that Tucker working alongside Danny may have led the Amity Park City Coucil to pass the Bill that allowed him to become APPOINTED Mayor Pro Tem. But if Tucker wants to KEEP the job, he is eventually going to have to get ELECTED.

At least it wasn't really embarrassing like having the robot imitate the same pose Tucker was using.

Well, my initial thought was to have the robot simply standing still, but I thought that image was too static. So I decided to go for something that would be more in service to Tucker's message, namely the robot holding its arms out in welcome towards the viewer. If it had copied Tucker's pose, though, yeah, THAT would have been a bit over the top.
As for Danny and Sam, I'd say their reaction really isn't so much embarrassed as it is simply annoyed. More along the lines of "Not again!".

Perhaps. But it's been my observation that in the world of professional politics, even though the person campaigning has the final say, he needs to listen to his campaign staff as much as they have to listen to him.^_^

Well, it's not so much a sneak peek, since such a poster won't actually exist in my DP fics. So consider it more of a teaser. But while it's a teaser of A fanfic, it's not a teaser of my NEXT fanfic. I won't be delving into Tucker's political prospects for a couple of stories yet. But then, of course, I've got my Kim Possible fanfics to worry about as well.

Well, unlike Skynet (which, if you go by Terminator 3, was a complete accident, although I personally prefer to ignore everything that happened after Terminator 2), Tucker's robot has no intelligence. It's operated by 100% remote control and is basically just a tool for Tucker to use.
