Description
Note: the FTF in the title means "Face the Future"Well, here we are again. Those of you who saw the pic just before this one, "FTF: Danny Fenton ", I need not waste time with a long-winded explanation. Here we have Future Sam, who also made her appearance in my fist DP fanfic, "Facing the Future" and was also brought to the present by Clockwork to fight an escaped Dark Danny. In fact, it was this encounter with her future self and learning that she was half ghost that drove the Sam of the present to recreate Danny's original accident in the Fenton Portal and gain ghost powers of her own.
Anyway, here we have Sam in the three forms she uses in the story. The first is her human form, which, is very elaborate in terms of the clothes she wears. As you can see, even in her mid-20s, Sam still hasn't outgrown the goth thing and has even taken it further with almost every kind of piercing a person can get. Next is her ghost form, where she has again taken her original teen ghost look and evolved it.
Next comes her secondary ghost form, which is very much like Danny's with regards to the power increase. And if the grown fangs and twisted grin have you thinking this form makes her every bit as vicious as well...trust me, go with the feeling. However, since this second form also has the exact same weakness in terms of the strain it puts on her body, she can only maintain it for brief periods. Unlike Danny, however, Young Sam in the present hasn't gained this form...yet.
But anyway, here's Future Sam for those of you who've read my stories and tried desperately to picture her. And for those of you who haven't read my fics yet, perhaps seeing these pics will inspire you to do so. Either way, hope you like what you see.

You know, I just realized that you added Fenton to the end of Sam's name. It's obvious what that means, but I'm surprised that you didn't mention that in your description.

Well, I figured the implication in the title was enough. I didn't want to give too much away considering that I haven't gotten that far into their future with my fanfics yet. So it was basically just a taste.
I actually kind of got the idea from Spider-Man (which, as you know, I've compared DP to in the past). Before Peter and Mary Jane's marriage was erased from time by Mephisto, MJ always referred to herself as "Mary Jane Watson-Parker". So I figured that someone like Sam would more than likely do the same thing.

Was curious to see how Sam looked in the future. Now I know. Figured she'd take her goth thing to new heights as she got older. And to think, some people thought it would be just a phase of her growth. As for her secondary ghost form, well, I no longer have questions as to how that looks. The only real question is when Sam will acquire it.

Well, I've always looked at Sam's embracing of the goth culture as more of an outlet for her independence and individuality than as an embrace of the actual lifestyle. Nevertheless, I don't think it's something she'd let go easily. Not that I think Danny minds. Even though Future Sam's design is a great deal more elaborate than Danny, who is rather plain in some respects, I think he'd want Sam to continue being herself. And Danny's role as the more-or-less "Straight Man" of the couple, I think kind of keeps Sam a little more down-to-earth.
AS for Sam's secondary ghost form, yes, you're basically now seeing what I've been seeing this whole time. As for when Young Sam in the present will acquire it, that's still not for a while yet. There's still quite a few more things to be done yet, not the least of which is having the DP crew discover just what this secondary transformation IS first.

Well, what can I say? I owe Future Sam a lot, because if it wasn't for her appearance in my fanfic, "Facing the Future", Sam wouldn't have ghost powers right now. As for her sex appeal, well, I definitely went out of my way to throw that in. When I was first envisioning Future Sam, the one thing I definitely came up with right off the bat was that when she grew up and filled out, I could totally see her having a body like Maddie's. So that's what I ended up giving her.

I think a lot of people like the idea of of Future Sam, because face it, Sam is awsome.
She might not have 'superpowers' in the cartoon, but she is pretty tacticful and quick witted in dangerous sitations.

Yeah, the Hartman style does lend itself to a certain level of sexiness. Especially when it comes to a lot of the older women.

Well, Sam has always had the ability to take care of herself when the chips are down, that's true. I guess the main reason I ended up giving her ghost powers was the way the TV series wrapped up. After "Phantom Planet" rolled around, I took stock of everything that happened and realized that the series had kind of burned a lot of its bridges behind it. With Vlad exposed, Danny's identity being discovered by his parents and Danny and Sam finally getting together, the series really had nowhere left to go if Nickelodeon decided to pull a 180 and bring the series back for a fourth Season. If that happened, I figured the only way they could really go anywhere new would be by giving someone like Sam ghost powers...
And then it hit me...Why NOT give Sam ghost powers? Before "Phantom Planet", there's no way it would have worked because it would have been too awkward, mostly because Danny and Sam weren't together yet. But now that they were, a situation like that would totally play. Not to mention that with Tucker in the Mayor's office, which gave him a chance to evolve into a more administrative position on the team, this would be a perfect time for Sam's role to equally evolve, taking on a more physical role. So far, I think it's worked out great (at least as far as my fanfic series goes).

Well, for all intents and purposes, her ghost form SHOULD scare you. Especially her SECOND ghost form. She's basically so dangerous in that form that if you force her to use it, your first reaction better be that line from Hellboy...

Well, young Sam from the present won't get to see this scary new form for a while yet. I've still got a few more things I need to do, first (not the least of which is explaining what this form is in the first place, which I'll be doing with Danny, a few stories from now). Anyway, all too happy to do a pic like this for the readers as well. Nice to know that you now have a clearer idea of what's going on in my mind's eye.

So glad you like the pics. I admit, I drew them mostly for the benefit of those who have read my fanfics and maybe wanted a clearer image of what was going on in my mind's eye. As for what you want to know, well, I suppose the best place to start is what do you know so far? Then I can fill you in on some other details you might not be aware of.

Glad you like the pic. Yeah, the pants are actually something I've seen before. People I've seen who are really heavy into goth or heavy metal or anything like that, you will see these kinds of pants being worn with the wide legs and straps and chains. Glad you like the look, though.

I assume you're referring to Sam's second ghost form. Like I said in the description...go with the feeling. She's is nothing short of an absolute beast in that form if you force her to use it.

Yeah, well, whenever I write, I usually go out of my way to be as descriptive as I can so people have as clear a picture as possible of what's going on in my mind's eye. But yeah, what you've seen is pretty much what I have them looking like. Sam in particular. When I first started conjuring her up, the first thing that came to mind was that when she filled out physically, I could just picture her ending up with a body like Maddie's. So as you can see, that's what I gave her.

Well, I can tell you that I've got at least one more pic that I'll be finishing off and posting either late today or early tomorrow. It's a lot simpler than the last three I've done, so there'll be a lot less time and effort required. After that, I'll have come to the end of my ready pencil work, so we'll have to see what happens beyond that.
