TUCKER/SIDNEY: Are...you okay?TANYA/DESIREE: I'm not sure. It's like every time I look at a mirror today, I just don't seem like myself.
This is just a picture I felt like throwing together. Anyone who's read my fanfics will be familiar with Desiree's new look, as well as why she's spending time with Sidney Poindexter. They'll also recognize my OC, Tanya, Tucker's former secretary, now campaign manager as he begins his election run (and with any luck, his future Deputy Mayor). Since Tanya and Desiree share many similar physical features and Tucker and Sidney are both decidedly nerd-like, this seemed like a fun setup to do, showing the two of them reflecting off each other. But only Desiree and Tanya seem to notice something strange happening, which will undoubtedly lead them doing more weird things in front of mirrors while Tucker and Sidney try to figure out what's going on.
It's worth noting that this may also be a request pic. I know I remember discussing this concept with someone here, but I don't remember offhand who it was or whether or not they actually requested that I draw it. As such, this won't be counted towards my new 10-request limit in this art set. But if this WAS a request, I hope it meets with someone's approval. And I hope everyone else appreciates it just as much.^_^

Yeah, I wanted kind of a ghost portal-type thing as the divider instead of something just Plain-Jane I'll admit, though, as I was drawing, I was a little concerned that I might not have left enough room between Tanya and Desiree to do that properly. Looks like I needn't have worried, though.

Well, I shortened the skirt because she's bending over and I wanted the pic to reflect that. But as I look at the pic, I realize (again, in retrospect) that it IS shorter than I'd intended. Still, it's hardly an epic fail and I'm still very happy with the pic overall.^_^

well what I've learned from being an artist even as somebody who just draw for myself I can honestly say that while it's great to have positive feedback from the peoples who see your art at the End of the Day it's all about whether or not you are happy with it

Well, when I was taking my Journalism course in college, we had a guest speaker who told us that journalism is 50% what you want to write about and 50% what you think your audience wants to read. Personally, I think that applies to all forms or writing and even art. So no matter what you draw for others to see, it has to be something YOU want to see as well.

In retrospect, yes, the skirt is a bit short. That wasn't my intention. It's just one of those things you don't notice in the heat of the creative process.

Yeah, that was kind of the general idea behind this pic. Just kind of having Desiree and Tanya regarding each other and going, "My butt's not THAT big, is it?".^_^
Of course, they have lovely bodies, so neither one of them has anything to complain about.

Well, admittedly, my original plan to was just to have Tanya be simple eye candy. And I wanted at least one other woman out there to be as voluptuous as Desiree (not to take anything away from Maddie, of course...Desiree is just more so). But as my fanfic series went on, her character evolved. Granted, she's still got a body that would make a good dog break his leash. She's just more than that now.

I love that idea. I mean, I like a vava voom lady as much as the next guy, but if they're nothing else to a character like that besides that (personality, interests, etc), she might as well be in a fictional playboy mag.

Of course I do.
Well, Tanya first made her debut in my first fanfic, "Facing the Future". The story also featured the debut of Tucker's Chauffeur, Hanson, too. My original plan was for Tanya to be the eye candy, while Hanson got to see action by doubling as Tucker's bodyguard. But after my fic, "Strength in Numbers", Hanson all but vanished while Tanya continued to make subsequent appearances. And gradually, her character began to evolve into what she is now. Again, just one of those things that happens in the heat of the creative process.
